Welcome
Hi guys!!! My name is Mai'Lyia or Mai for short. This is basically a dedicated corner of the internet who lovessss looking at stars but also really want to know the wild and complex physics beyond what they are seeing. A gradient in science is kind of like a gradual transition from one state to another, and that is exactly what my blog will be about! It'll start from the basic backyard stargazing to the extraordinary astrophysics and cosmic. And this will be in no particular order! Honestly, it'll be whatever I find interesting that day, ya know? Maybe if this blog gets enough recognition I can do blogs based on what people want to learn about!
Introduction
I randomly had an idea one day to start up this blog. I've loved astronomy since I was kid honestly. From the solar system to the black holes I was always, always fascinated by the endless infinities of the universe. Sadly around 8th grade I began to struggle with math due to a not so good teacher. As I progressed further, my passion for astronomy stayed, but the dream of becoming an astrophysicist or astronomer got pushed back as I told it wasn't a realistic job for how much I struggled at math.
Not to long ago, before entering college, I had a sudden realization that you can become anything you want if you really put the work into it. I'm still hesitant on going in as a career, but hopefully studying and writing these blogs will make me see the light of whether I should truly pursue astronomy or stay in pre-med.
Astronomy
Anyways! Enough sappy stuff, let's go into what basically you should expect reading my blogs.
Observational Guides: What's visible in the night sky each month; like constellations or even the phase of the moon!
Astrophysics Unpacked: Definitely diving deep into complex theories like spacetime curvature and black holes
Deep Space Discoveries: Go into space mission updates(like Space-X 13!!!) or phenomenons
Stargazing Logs: Just personal observations I see!!
Soooo, let's dive in together everyone. Space is soooo infinitely vast and even I stumble on it on no matter how much I love it. Understanding takes one step at a time. I'm so very excited to start this project, share what I'm learning, and build a space where many people can all look up and marvel at the endless universe together! Hang tight for next week!!
Amaze!
Signing out, Mai 🪐
